We are currently looking to fill the following positions:
- Store Managers: We believe the relationship between our sales associates and our customers is paramount to our success. This philosophy begins and ends with our store managers. They are self-motivated, enthusiastic, positive, detail-oriented men and women with a passion for DRIVING SALES by leading and coaching their teams. Furniture Connection store managers are business-minded people responsible for managing the daily operations of the store and achieving monthly sales and gross profit goals. Position requirements include but are not limited to the following: Associate’s (2 year) degree in business administration or comparable, minimum 3 years retail experience, preferably in home furnishings, ability to lead, motivate and manage a team, ability to read and interpret profit and loss statements, willingness to work most weekends and holidays. If you are a team oriented, customer service driven individual, than this may be the career for you!
- Sales Associates: Come be a part of the growing success at one of Tennessee’s BEST Furniture Retail Stores. We are currently seeking experienced Sales Associates at our Clarksville Area Showrooms. Qualified applicants should have prior experience in sales, retail, and/or furniture and have a desire to work with the public. Ideal candidates will also possess strong verbal communication and great customer service skills along with the ability to work a flexible schedule which includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Delivery Drivers: The qualified candidates for these positions will make deliveries to our customers with a focus on timeliness and great customer service. The Furniture Delivery Driver will off-load materials at each stop, deliver and place products to the customer’s specifications. Heavy lifting is required (up to 100 pounds), as well as, carrying heavy merchandise up stairs. All Driver applicants must be 21 years of age and are subject to random drug and alcohol testing. Delivery and/or warehouse experience preferred. - Maintenance Man: Are you a well rounded, motivated, team player that understands work ethic? Do you work well with others, have a great attitude and of course, are at work every day and on time? If so, than you may qualify for this great opportunity with Furniture Connection. We are looking for someone with previous experience as a building maintenance worker or a handy man to fill this open position. You must be a responsible individual that holds yourself accountable, as well as, a self starter with a strong work ethic. You will be responsible for maintaining three to four buildings. You will be expected to recognize any areas that may need attention and communicate your observations to management. Your duties will include but are not limited to painting, parking lots, grounds, construction, fencing, security, replacing light bulbs, emptying trash, carpentry, snow plowing, yard work etc. You will handle any and all needs in the maintenance and grounds areas.
